Flying high at the Waterloo Air Show
The Waterloo Air Show is entering its forth year.
Aviation expos and flying displays have been held on and off at the Region of Waterloo International Airport for decades.
These events give the public rare access to airport property allowing them an up-close and personal look at exhibits, display, parked aircraft, and military and civilian aviation.
The Beat gets a sneak peek at this year's Waterloo Air Show.
Savour Stratford
Stratford is known for its Shakespearean Theatre Festival and yes, Justin Bieber. But Chef Arron Linley says it's also getting a reputation for its restaurants and its food festival.

Harvard Dreams
The all-volunteer Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association began in 1985 at a small grass airstrip in Woodstock from the dreams of a handful of Harvard lovers who were determined to keep the legend of the Harvard alive.

Canada Film Days
Canada Film Days is a week long film festival striving to bring new Canadian cinema to Waterloo Region. As an added bonus, there are visits from the creative teams, directors and documentary subjects. Canada Film Days takes place at the Princess Cinema in Waterloo.
Hot Spot
It's not a restaurant or a pub, but a bakery. Tia's Bakery is offering up goods but holding the gluten and dairy. The bakery is new to Guelph and offers gluten and dairy-free muffins, waffles, breads and cookies. Everything is baked in house.
The Tools of Walking
It's one of the easiest forms of exercise you can do and pedometers help you track your steps. A Stanford University study reports that people who use pedometers walk about a mile more every day than those who don't use one.
Video Games as Art?
Visitors come to the Smithsonian American Art Museum to appreciate icons like Georgia O'Keefe, Edward Hopper and -- right now -- Mario, Pac-Man and Sonic the Hedgehog.
