Provincial police are investigating the death of a man on a farm in Meaford.

OPP say 61-year-old Leonard Cahoon of Meaford died Saturday on a rented farm where he kept cattle.

Cahoon's body was found by an area resident who told police he went to the farm to investigate because the barn door had been left open.

Investigators say the coroner determined Cahoon died of an injury caused by a machine he was operating while doing his daily chores.
