HAGERSVILLE, Ont. - A 22-year-old man is facing nearly 140 charges after a credit card fraud at a New Credit First Nation gas station in Hagersville.

Police say between Dec. 16 and Dec. 28, a credit card fraud was discovered at the New Credit Variety and Gas Bar.

In total, 41 people had been defrauded of over $10,000.

Police have laid 138 charges, including fraud and breach of probation, against Christopher Hartnett of Haldimand County.

He is to appear in a Cayuga court at a later date.
