Abraham Froesse-Friessen, 51, of Kingsville, has been charged with first degree murder in the death of a woman whose body was discovered on Jan. 25.
Essex County OPP say Bridie Fanning, 47, was found dead at a residence on County Road 34 in Kingsville around 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
A post mortem examination done at London Health Sciences University Campus Hospital on Wednesday determined she had been murdered.
Police say Froesse-Friessen was remanded in custody and is expected to appear in court again on Friday.
