Buses cancelled and some schools closed across Southwestern Ontario

Lambton Kent District School Board

In the Lambton Kent District School board, all buses in zones 1 – 4 have been cancelled for today. Schools in zones 1 and 4 have been closed.

Avon Maitland District School Board

In the Mitchell Area, there are no buses and the following schools are closed

St Patrick's Dublin

St Columban

Upper Thames ES

Mitchell District Secondary School is open for study purposes only.

In North Huron Region, buses are cancelled and the following schools are closed:

Turnberry Central

Brookside Public

Blyth Public

East Wawanosh Public

Brussels Public

Sacred Heart School in Wingham - Christmas concert, scheduled for tonight, Wednesday, December 15 is postponed until tomorrow, Thursday, December 16th weather permitting.

Wingham Public School is open - no special education buses FE Madill is open for study purposes for those who can arrive there safely.

In the town of St. Marys and area,

Rural buses are cancelled:

South Perth Centennial is closed

DCVI secondary open for study purposes only DCVI elementary open with buses running on alternate stops Holy Name of Mary open for those who can get there safely

In Stratford: No Murphy Special Ed buses to Anne Hathaway

City of Stratford Catholic schools

St. Michael Murphy and Scruton buses are canceled. School is open. Regular schedule

Jeanne Sauve Murphy and Scruton buses are canceled. School is open. Regular schedule

St. Ambrose All buses running . School is open

St. Al's All buses running . Scho

In the St. Marys area:

no buses - South Perth PS is closed

In the South Huron Region, the buses have been cancelled and the following schools are closed:

Our Lady of Mount Carmel School

Stephen Central School

Usborne Central School

Precious Blood School

Exeter Public School

Zurich Public School

St Boniface in Zurich School

Hensall Public School

South Huron District Secondary School is also closed.

In the Clinton Seaforth Region

There are no buses and the following schools are closed:

Seaforth Public School

St. James Catholic School in Seaforth

Holmesville Public School

Hensall Public School

Huron Centennial Public School

Clinton Public School - Clinton Daycare site relocated to CHSS today Clinton and District Christian School Hullett Central Public School St. Joseph's school in Clinton St. Anne's Catholic SS Central Huron Secondary School has no buses and we are open for study purposes for those who are able to get there safely

In the Goderich Area

There are no buses and

GDCI 7 - 12 is closed

Colborne is closed

Goderich PS and St. Mary's, Goderich are open for regular classes for those that can safely get there The GPS concert scheduled for 6:30 pm is still on tonight.

Thames Valley District School Board

Schools across Middlesex and West Elgin Counties that were closed Tuesday will remain closed Wednesday to allow school Board Facilities Services staff time to complete safety inspections.

Students, parents and staff are advised to monitor local news and weather sources as well as their school website for the latest information.

All community use of schools has been cancelled at these schools. Adult and continuing education centres in these areas will also be closed.
