He may not have a household name yet. But Kitchener's Michael Buie has starred alongside Hollywood's biggest stars and is about to share the spotlight with Russell Crowe in their new film "The Next Three Days".
The movie also stars Liam Neeson.
"When Russell Crowe and Liam Neeson were shooting I was not going to miss that day. I wasn't working that day but I was down on the set sneaking around," says Buie.
Buie left the Kitchener area about 18 years ago to pursue his acting career, which includes a starring role in "Mystery Alaska".
However, he is still very much connected to this area and loves being Canadian.
"I take a lot of heat. I never lost the ‘eh', so when ever you say ‘eh' to anybody of course they jump on it."
